Students and teachers from Biskupské gymnasium Brno spent today’s whole morning editing articles on women’s topics. They joined the WikiGap 2021 event and help us to give a foundation of the historically first WikiGap within the Students Write Wikipedia programme that we have ever organised.
After a brief introduction led by our lecturer and wikipedian Zdeněk “Hugo” Moravec, the students were divided into groups where, under the supervision and with the help of other lecturers, Brno based wikipedians, they wrote and edited articles. Thanks to the work of students, new articles such as one about the American philosopher Nancy Bauer and Czech archer Lenka Kuncová have appeared on Wikipedia.
