Wikimedia CZ has joined the platform of non-profit organizations for the digital transformation of state Společně & Digitálně. It has thus joined the founding members – prominent NGOs with an international reach – who support the idea of a citizen-oriented state. This idea corresponds to the advocacy activities of Wikimedia CZ in the GLAM area, where it has long supported the accessibility of information, the development of education and the promotion of sharing free content via, among others, advocacy towards the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, legislators and representatives of regional governments in the field of culture. Within the framework of Společně & Digitálně platform, we will strive for a coordinated approach in these areas and look forward to inspiring cooperation with experienced partners.
