On Monday, 26 February, the long-prepared course Writing Wikipedia – Portal: Media Literacy for students of the Institute of Information Studies and Librarianship (UISK) at the Faculty of Arts in Prague will start. Based on the successful experience with teaching students at KISK in Brno, we decided to develop cooperation with future librarians in Prague. Three students are involved in pilot work on Wikipedia articles in winter 2023, and a block teaching for 25 students starting in February, focusing on entries related to media education. The collaboration also fulfills a strategic partnership with Charles University signed last year. The lecturer is Pavel Bednařík, and the supervisor for the Faculty of Arts of Charles University is Pavlína Kolínová.
