On Friday, 12 April, the lecture “Wikipedia: Get acquainted, please” took place at the Jindřichův Hradec Secondary School. The lecture focused on Wikimedia projects, especially the free media repository Wikimedia Commons and its practical use, as well as Wikislovník and Wikibooks and how to use them in practice. The students listened to this lecture in the building of the local hospital where the students had their internships.
The lecture was prepared and led by Jitka Erbenová, known to some as wikipedian Czeva. The lecture took place and was funded by the Lectures for Secondary Schools project of the Faculty of Science of the University of South Bohemia.
