The traditional WikiSkripta community camp in Dobronice is for everyone who wants to contribute to the creation of open educational materials, learn new things, and also stretch themselves while playing sports. The course is led by experienced tutors mostly from the ranks of the maintainers and administrators of WikiSkripta – the fourth largest medical wikiproject in the world!
The summer school is based on informal workshops and joint teamwork on teaching materials. Participants will learn the communication skills needed to develop WikiSkripta.
Wikimedia ČR was also present this year, so that every year there can be an exchange of experience in creating Wiki-based projects and working with students on these types of activities.
Wikimedia Czech Republic was represented this year by Wikipedian and lecturer Jan Myšák, who led two activities on site – a theoretical Introduction to Wikidata and a subsequent Wikidata workshop. Doctors Štuka and Vejražka, who were at the birth of Wikidata and have long been interested in the topic, were even present. The activities were primarily focused on the contribution of Wikidata to WikisKripta and vice versa, including the possibility of linking the two projects, as is already the case with Wikimedia Commons.
