On Saturday 31 August 2024, a neighbourhood festival was held in the local part of Olomouc, the former independent village of Chomoutov, north of the city centre. It was organised for the second year by the local association Los vesinos, whose representatives participated in the online training How to get your topic on Wikipedia in June this year (youtube recording). The result of the collaboration was an exhibition of photographs of unphotographed landmarks of Chomoutov, which the representatives of the association uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, but also prepared a special exhibition of them during the event. Thus, the participants of the celebration not only learned about the initiative of the association itself, but also about the possibilities to get involved in the mapping of the district, or how to upload more photos to the Commons.
