On the weekend of 13-15 September 2024, the seventh Senior WikiTown took place, this time in Bečov nad Teplou. Almost a dozen participants of the senior courses, lecturers and collaborators visited the historic town in the Karlovy Vary region, where the Botanical Garden in Bečov nad Teplou opened its arms to them for a few days. The participants visited, among others, the castle in Bečov nad Teplou, the reliquary of St. Maurus and the Gallows Hill. But the main part of the program was a tour of the unique Bečov Botanical Garden together with the director and founder, Jiří Šindelář. Editing in the heated premises and exceptional hospitality guaranteed fond memories of an otherwise gloomy flood weekend. Photos from WikiTown are available for preview on Wikimedia Commons.
