On Friday, 11 October 2024, a workshop was held at the Municipal Library in Prague, organised by the Teatrological Society and Wikimedia Czech Republic. The aim of the event was to introduce students and experts to the form in which the entries and entries on Wikipedia and the Czech Theatre Encyclopaedia, which is compiled by experts from the Theatre Institute, are processed. The standards and rules of publishing of both encyclopaedias were compared, and the possibility of a more significant cooperation and linking was discussed for the future. Among other things, it was possible to refute Josef Chuchma’s comment about Wikipedia being an untrustworthy source. Inaccurate information from the article about the Theatre Without Railings was corrected immediately.
